Who we are

Tasneem's Water is a family-run charity based in London. We are responsible for the personal details you give us through this website. You can contact us at [email protected].

What we collect, and why

• Water orders: your name, organisation, email, phone, delivery address, and the quantity and date you ask for. We use them to arrange and deliver your order.
• Donations: your name, email, the amount, how often, your chosen payment method, and anyone you are giving on behalf of. We use them to match your payment when it arrives, to thank you, and to keep proper records.
• Messages: your name, email, phone (if given) and message, so that we can reply.

We never see or store card or bank details. Payments are made directly with your bank, PayPal or our card payment provider, under their own privacy terms.

Our lawful reasons

We use your details to do what you asked us to (deliver water, process your gift, reply to you), and because we have a legitimate interest in running the charity properly. Where the law requires us to keep records of donations, we do so to meet that obligation.

Who can see your details

Only the family members who run Tasneem's Water. We do not sell or share your details with anyone else. Our website and records are hosted by Cloudflare, who process them on our behalf and to our instructions.

How long we keep them

Order and message details: up to two years after our last contact. Donation records: up to six years, as required for financial records. After that we delete them.

Emails from us

We will only email you about your order, gift or message, unless you have asked to hear from us. Every email we send will tell you how to stop.

Your rights

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, to correct them, or to delete them, by emailing [email protected]. If you are unhappy with how we have used your details, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The admin area uses one essential cookie to keep the family signed in.
